New Age restaurant services in Äkäslompolo

In the beginning of December the newest restaurant in Äkäslompolo was opened, this restaurant carries a very personal name, Äkäslompolo! Because our food is Italian type, it could have been named Rome or Milano, but since we use e.g. arctic char, reindeer, Arctic ocean crustacean, mushrooms and Lappish berries as raw materials, Äkäslompolo suits well.

In the planning stage, we decided to open up a restaurant that is unique to this area but at the same time we wanted to do our share in slowing down the Greenhouse effect on our planet earth, even though our business is travel business. Yes it might sound like a cliche but it is not.

How do we then make all this work? Our food is prepared of raw material that is good for human beings. Produce and transportation are logical; a big part of our raw material is organic and ethically lasting.

Everyone knows that foodstuff produced without additional preservatives is healthy, and when prepared without excess butter and cream according to Mediterranian menu, it gives strength needed during active Ylläs vacationing.
Of course we are thinking of our business too. First-class raw material ensures that we offer first-class food, which we believe will full fill our customer ‘s expectations.
